2. Licence to use the app

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the app on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial purposes, subject to these terms and the rules of the app store you downloaded it from.

You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, rent, sell or redistribute the app, or remove any proprietary notices, except where the law expressly permits it.

3. Dealing with tradespeople

Listed tradespeople are independent businesses. We do not vet, license, insure or supervise them, and their inclusion in the app is not a recommendation. Before hiring anyone you should check their qualifications, insurance and references yourself, agree the price and scope in writing, and follow any legal requirements for the work (for example certification for electrical or gas work).

Ratings shown in the app are indicative only and may be incomplete or out of date.

4. Your data stays with you

The app stores your default area, search history, favourites and task records on your device only. We do not operate an account system or a server that receives this data. You are responsible for keeping your device secure and for any backups you want to make. Deleting the app or using the in-app "Delete all data" control permanently removes this information; we cannot recover it for you. See the Privacy Policy for full details.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the app for any unlawful purpose or to harass, spam or defraud tradespeople;
• scrape, harvest or bulk-extract listings from the app;
• interfere with the app's operation or attempt to bypass any of its limits;
• use the app to provide a competing directory service.

6. Listings and accuracy

We try to keep listing details (trades, rates, call-out fees, areas served) accurate, but they are supplied by or about third parties and can change without notice. Prices shown are indicative; the price you pay is whatever you agree with the tradesperson. If you are a tradesperson and believe a listing about you is wrong or you want it removed, email olivia.fleming47@gmail.com and we will correct or remove it within a reasonable time.

7. Support

Support is provided by email through the in-app link and the support page. We aim to reply quickly, usually within minutes during daytime hours, but response times are not guaranteed and support is offered as a courtesy, not as a contractual service level.

8. No warranty

The app is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any tradesperson will be available, competent or will complete work to your satisfaction.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Olivia Fleming is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, for loss of data on your device, or for any loss or damage arising from work carried out by, or your dealings with, a tradesperson found through the app. Our total liability to you for any claim connected with the app is limited to the amount you paid for it, which is nil.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.

10. Intellectual property

The app, its name, design, code and content are owned by Olivia Fleming or licensed to her, and are protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. These terms do not transfer any ownership to you. Tradespeople's business names and marks belong to their respective owners.

11. Ending the agreement

You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or end your licence if you breach these terms, or withdraw the app from the app stores. Clauses 3, 4, 8, 9, 10 and 13 continue to apply after the agreement ends.

12. Changes to the app or these terms

We may update the app and these terms from time to time. Material changes will be flagged in the app's release notes and by updating the effective date above. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the country in which the publisher is resident, without affecting any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of the country where you live. Disputes will be handled by the courts of that country, and we encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve any issue informally.

App store terms

If you downloaded the app from Apple's App Store or Google Play, the relevant store's terms also apply, and the store operator is a third-party beneficiary of these terms with the right to enforce them. The store operator has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
